Introducing Umia Pass: Hold UMIA, Lock In Your Allocation

Umia Pass is the UMIA holder lane into the early bid of Curated launches. Hold UMIA to lock in a guaranteed allocation, and boost it up to 10x.

productauctions

The Slop.Cash auction page promised early access criteria for UMIA holders. Here they are.

Umia Pass is the UMIA holder lane into the early bid of Curated launches. Hold UMIA and you can lock in your allocation in the early round of every Curated launch that offers a Pass lane. Slop.Cash is the first, with the early bid opening on 5 November.

Why we built it

Every Curated launch on Umia opens with an early bid before the public round. Up until now there were two ways in: a whitelist for funds and angels, and proofs for the project's own community.

With Umia Pass, we give access to the type of holders most aligned with ownership coins: experienced traders and believers of token ownership, showing their conviction holding UMIA.

How do you qualify

Hold at least 1,000 UMIA in the wallet you bid from, continuously, for 7 days.

Your 7-day holding is checked when you bid, so there's nothing to sign up for. Balances across different wallets don't add up, and if your balance dips below the threshold, even for a moment, the clock restarts, so make sure to bid from the same wallet.

Why 7 days? It keeps the lane for people who actually hold UMIA. A wallet that buys in right before the bid doesn't qualify, so nobody can buy, bid and sell straight after.

You can follow your status on the Pass card in your portfolio: it counts down while the holding window runs, shows your boost once you qualify, and reads Paused if you drop below the threshold.

What you get

A guaranteed base allocation of $250 per wallet in the early bid, and up to $2.5k with boosts.

This is not an airdrop. You bid with your own funds, at the same clearing price as everyone else; the Pass reserves a share of the early round, it does not change the terms.

The stronger your conviction, the stronger the Pass

By holding more UMIA, or verifying alignment proofs privately through the Umia Extension, you can boost your Pass and raise how much you can bid. Boosts stack up to a maximum of 10x.

For Slop.Cash, the boosts are:

  • Hold 5,000 UMIA for 7 days: +1x
  • Hold 20,000 UMIA for 7 days: +5x
  • Took part in any Echo sale: +3x
  • Average hold time on fomo above 5 days: +1x
  • Average hold time on fomo above 30 days: +5x
  • Member of a listed fomo clan: +2x

All of these are live now. GitHub proofs are not Pass boosts: they belong to Slop.Cash's separate contributor lane, covered below.

Why these? Bigger holdings, held over time, show you're here for the platform and not for one launch. Echo participation shows you've backed early rounds onchain before. A long average hold time on fomo, or a seat in a listed fomo clan, shows you hold through the noise elsewhere too.

Boost weights are set by Umia and shown in the app before you bid. Projects never see your proofs, only your boost.

Boosts are live while the early bid is open. Verify a new proof mid-window and your next bid can go higher. Whatever you've already bid still counts.

Lock in your allocation

Every qualifying wallet gets a guaranteed base allocation of $250 in the early bid, and boosts raise it, up to $2.5k per wallet with the Pass. The Pass lane has its own capped pool, and your allocation is reserved when you sign your bid.

Three ways into the early bid

The Pass is one of three lanes, each with its own cap. Funds and angels also bid directly in the early round, through a whitelist set by Umia. UMIA holders come in through the Pass. The project's own community comes in with a proof, and for Slop.Cash that means proving with the Umia Extension that you contributed to or reviewed Eliza or SlopCash. That lane unlocks up to $3k per wallet. Proofs need the desktop extension and don't work on mobile.

Fit more than one? No problem, just select each and see your allocated cap. If you bid your Pass allocation first, you can top up later through a verified proof, up to that lane's cap.

Privacy

All proofs are generated device-side and stay private: the project only sees your boost. Nothing from your GitHub account is shared or linked to your wallet. Bids placed through the Pass get an "Umia Pass" tag in the auction activity feed.

Slop.Cash: your first opportunity to leverage the Pass

Early bid opens 5 November at around 16:15 UTC (5:15pm CET). Public bid opens 7 November at around 15:50 UTC, and the auction closes 10 November at around 15:20 UTC. The auction runs on block numbers, so these times are approximate: Robinhood Chain blocks are slightly faster than planned, which moved every phase a little earlier. The launch page shows the live times.

Wallet setup, funding, proofs, bidding and refunds are all covered in the participation guide: app.umia.finance/p/slop-cash.

How to get your Pass and boosts, step by step

  1. Open app.umia.finance and connect the wallet that holds your UMIA.
  2. Go to your portfolio. The Umia Pass card shows your status and your current boost.
  3. To add proof boosts, install the Umia Extension from the Chrome Web Store on desktop. Proofs don't work on mobile.
  4. Under "Your boosts", pick the proof you want and verify it with the extension. Your boost updates on the card once it's verified.
  5. When the early bid opens, go to the Slop.Cash launch page. If you qualify through more than one lane, pick the one you want to bid with.
  6. Enter your amount and sign to lock in your allocation.

Your Pass carries over to every Curated launch that offers a lane, for as long as you keep holding. Slop.Cash is just the first.
